Our (not so) BIG New Year's Eve Celebration!

This year we scaled way back on New Year's Eve and frankly it was nice! We decided to just stay home and enjoy the time together. We had a simple dinner and snacks, we watched some movies, and we went outside about a quarter till nine and shot off our poppers, etc. We blew our horns and shouted Happy New Year!!! We had a cousin who was staying with us and she was getting tired so we figured we'd just celebrate right then! I think Kolten & Morgan were a little bummed at first (the last couple of years we have had big parties with some friends & children & they got to stay up late) but in the end it was all good! The kiddos were in bed by 10:00 and Brad & I layed in bed and watched a movie and about 5 minutes till midnite kissed and said Happy New year and fell asleep! The best part was the next day we weren't all groggy and grouchy! We made a picnic lunch and went out and played in the sand wash/hills on New Year's day. What fun!!
